§ 46-81. Established.

In order to guide and accomplish coordinated, adjusted, and harmonious development within the town, and to promote the public health, safety and welfare of the town, there is hereby created and established, in accordance with F.S. § 163.3174 and the laws of the town, the town local planning agency.

The town commission hereby designates itself as the town's LPA. The LPA shall also consist of a non-voting representative of the Martin County School District. The town commission sitting as the LPA shall exercise all authority and responsibilities as proscribed by F.S. § 163.3174.
